Wearing Someone Else’s Clothes

Jason Robert Brown’s solo album “Wearing Someone Else’s Clothes” was released in 2005. The album comprises 11 songs from a variety of genres spanning rock, gospel, funk, jazz and big band, all written by JRB from 1996-2004, independently of any musicals he was writing during that time. The album shows off JRB as a vocalist, arranger, orchestrator, pianist and songwriter. His band The Caucasian Rhythm Kings play on much of the album, along with a full orchestra and choir featuring many Broadway performers.
