Tuck Everlasting is a musical based upon an American children’s novel by Natalie Babbitt. With music by Chris Miller, lyrics by Nathan Tysen and a book by Claudia Shear and Tim Federle. The musical premiere in Georgia in 2015 and it played on Broadway between March and May in 2016, closing after 39 performances.
The story follows an eleven year old girl called Winnie Foster who runs away from her hometown of Treegap, longing for a life of adventure. When she meets the Tucks, a family with unending youth, in the forest she finds more adventure than she could ever have imagined. She has to help them conceal their secret to eternal life from those who wish to profit from it, and to make a choice herself wether to join them in their never-ending journey, or go back to her life in Treegap.
