Everlasting – Tuck Everlasting – Backing Track
Based upon the American children’s novel by Natalie Babbitt, with music by Chris Miller, lyrics by Nathan Tysen and a book by Claudia Shear and Tim Federle, Tuck Everlasting tells the story of a girl called Winnie who runs away from home looking for a life of adventure. She meets the Tuck family in the forest and finds more adventure with them than she could have imagined. ‘Everlasting’ is performed by Winnie towards the end of the show, when she parts ways with the Tuck family and is gifted a vial of the magical water from their spring which makes drinkers immortal, and Winnie contemplates what immortality would be like.
