“Goodbye” is the penultimate song in the musical Catch Me If You Can by the award-winning team behind Hairspray, Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman. The show follows the true story of con artist Frank Abagnale Jr. and is based closely upon his autobiography and the 2002 film starring Leonardo DiCaprio. “Goodbye” is sung by the lead character Frank Abagnale Jr. as he realises that his fight and flight against Agent Hanratty is at an end and he is arrested. It is a powerful up-beat ballad for tenor voice.
This backing track is based on the 2011 Original Broadway Cast Recording, as performed by Aaron Tveit.
