The show is based on the life story of infamous American outlaws and lovers Clyde Barrow and Bonnie Parker who achieved cult hero status during the Great Depression. Bonnie sings “Dyin’ Ain’t So Bad” to Clyde’s sister-in-law Blanche in defense of the life choices she and Clyde have made. She believes they are living life to the fullest, even if it will be short-lived.
