I Can’t Be Bothered Now – Backing Track
“I Can’t Be Bothered Now” is a song originally written by George & Ira Gershwin for the 1937 film A Damsel In Distress, performed by Fred Astaire. Much later it was included in the 1992 musical Crazy For You, which was primarily based on the duo’s 1930’s show Girl Crazy, with the addition of several other songs from their catalogue. It is sung by Bobby, as he imagines himself performing with the Follies girls, whilst his fiancee and mother argue over his attentions.

This backing track is based on the Crazy For You Original London Cast Recording 1993.
