The show is based on the life story of infamous American outlaws and lovers Clyde Barrow and Bonnie Parker who achieved cult hero status during the Great Depression. “God’s Arms Are Always Open” is a gospel number sung by the Preacher, Blanche and the church congregation, whilst Buck, Clyde’s brother, decides to turn himself for escaping prison, and Clyde is also hunted down and taken back to prison.
