“This World Will Remember Me” is a song from the musical Bonnie & Clyde with music by Frank Wildhorn and lyrics by Don Black. The show is based on the life story of infamous American outlaws and lovers Clyde Barrow and Bonnie Parker who achieved cult hero status during the Great Depression. “This World Will Remember Me” is sung by Clyde and Bonnie when they meet for the first time on the roadside and tell each other of their dreams of becoming rich and famous, whilst Clyde repairs Bonnie’s car in return for a ride to Dallas.
