Based on the Original London Cast Recording from 1993, this song was written specifically for the opening title sequence of the 1978 film version of the hit musical. Written by The BeeGee’s Barry Gibb and performed by Franki Valli, the song reach no.1 in the charts and is a platinum selling record. Although it was not part of the original Broadway (1971) and London (1973) productions, following the success of the film, the musical was revived in London in 1993 to include this and many of the popular songs from the film version as well.
