Sandy (Opening) – Grease (Backing Track)
Based on the Original London Cast Recording from 1993, this is the opening song of the show, performed by Danny & Sandy as they spend their last day of summer romance together. Although this song was not part of the original Broadway (1971) and London (1973) productions, following the success of the film, the musical was revived in London in 1993 to include this and many of the popular songs from the film version, particularly those written specifically for Olivia Newton-John.
